Cherry Wine is a feather in our cap: some of the nicest juice from one of our favourite fruits.

We get our Montmorency cherries in from Vineland, Niagara, just hours after they've been picked.

Revel brings their cherries in within 24 hours of harvest, and lets them press themselves in a stainless steel tank, using just the free run juice for cherry wine.

This vintage was left to rest in a single barrel on Cabernet Franc lees, for 6 months before bottling.

The Cab Franc has added a touch of tannin and weight to the bright-yet-delicate cherries.  The grapes are a soft touch, but they widen the Montmorency notes in all the best ways.  Still a cherry treat, just more luxardo than maraschino.
