Lambrusco Mantovano '22

Villa Picta is an organic producer in the Mantova province of Lombardia — just across the Po River from Emilia-Romagna, where Lambrusco is most famous, but with its own distinct DOC and its own indigenous grape. Their Lambrusco Mantovano is made from Lambrusco Ruberti, a rare local variety found almost exclusively in the Mantovano area, producing a wine that is distinctly its own: floral, brambly, and mineral in a way that sets it apart from its Emilian cousins.

Dry and lively, with aromatic floral notes on the nose, brambly dark fruit on the palate, and a clean, mineral acidity that keeps everything fresh and food-friendly. Organic.
