Tucked into the high-altitude valleys of Matelica — one of Italy's most underrated white wine appellations — Colle Stefano's Verdicchio is a wine that rewards the curious. Cooler than its coastal Castelli di Jesi counterpart, Matelica produces Verdicchio with a tighter, more mineral-driven character: think crisp green apple, white peach, and a whisper of almond on the finish.
This 2024 vintage is bright and energetic, with a saline backbone that makes it an ideal companion at the table or on its own.
