François Chidaine is a legend of the Loire Valley — best known for his benchmark Montlouis and Vouvray whites, but equally gifted when it comes to rosé. His Touraine Rosé is biodynamically farmed and made with the same rigour and care as his most celebrated cuvées, yet priced for everyday drinking. It is, simply put, one of the best-value rosés in the shop.

Pale salmon-pink with a luminous clarity. The nose is fresh and precise: wild strawberry, raspberry, a hint of rose petal, and a subtle mineral lift that is unmistakably Loire. On the palate, it’s light-bodied and lively — crisp acidity, delicate red fruit, and a clean, dry finish with just enough texture to hold its own at the table. Elegant without being fussy. Refreshing without being thin.
