Rio Brilhante Maracuja

Rio Brilhante — Portuguese for “Shining River” — is a natural-process Brazilian coffee roasted by Hatch Crafted, one of Toronto’s most respected specialty roasters. The Maracuja (Passionfruit) name hints at what’s in the cup: a bold, fruit-forward profile that leans into the natural sweetness and tropical character that Brazil’s best coffees are capable of producing.

Expect a cup that is rich, smooth, and deeply satisfying: ripe tropical fruit, chocolate fudge, and an nutty pecan sweetness that lingers long after the last sip. The body is full and velvety, the acidity is low and gentle, and the finish is clean and sweet. A coffee that works beautifully as espresso, in a French press, or as the base of a great latte.
