Perfect Pair: Gerties Peanut Butter Pie

Our Perfect Pairs series takes some of our favourite products and finds their culinary soul mate, creating a union more incredible than the sum of its parts. Perfect matches for incredible experiences. 

This pair begins with one of our long-time obsessions--the Gerties Peanut Butter Pie. This creation combines a peanut gram cracker crust with soft lemony whipped mascarpone, peanut butter mousse, peanut butter caramel, & topped with honey roasted peanuts. It's a delight on its own, but when paired with a barrel aged imperial stout it's out of this world. 

For this pairing we've selected two iterations of Leftfield Brewery's annual Blackburn Imperial Stout. The bourbon-barrel aged version, & the rye-barrel aged version. A++
