Style: White Wine
Region: Beamsville Bench
This unique Melon owes its existence to two passions--wine and oysters--and one misunderstanding. To grow a wine that would complement oysters, Martin Malivoire ordered Muscat vines from France. However, what arrived, was planted, nurtured, and thrived on the Beamsville Bench was not the Muscat he'd requested, but Melon de Bourgogne. Martin's Oyster Wine is now the 'pearl' coveted by all who love shellfish, and happy accidents.
