Made from 100% Petit Sirah grown in the Ardèche, this is a wine of real depth and structure — Petit Sirah is a variety that produces deeply coloured, tannic, intensely flavoured reds with exceptional ageing potential, and in Steen and Blauert's hands, with zero intervention and the ancient soils of the Ardèche, it becomes something genuinely compelling. At 14% ABV it has the weight and concentration to age for years. Expect dark fruit, black pepper, earth, and a firm, structured tannic backbone that will soften beautifully with time. Decant generously and serve with roast lamb, wild boar, aged hard cheese, or anything that can stand up to a wine of this presence.
