Lea Canaiolo Nero '22

La Ginestra is doing everything we like about wine… at the same time. They have a line of wines that are classic and represent the appellations of Chianti and honour traditions; they also have a line of wines which push the envelope and lean into more natural and experimental territory. 

This wine, made from Canaiolo grapes, is medium bodied, medium tannins, medium acidity, which is a lot of mediums, but it is certainly not middle of the road. It’s balanced perfectly. Really built from the best of both classic and contemporary winemaking methods. Slightly more soft than other wines from this region, a delicate touch. We get blackberry, red fruit, stones, leather & pepper.
