Kata '24

Cantine Olivella's Kata '24 is made from Catalanesca — one of Italy's rarest and most historically significant white grapes, grown exclusively on the volcanic slopes of Mount Vesuvius in Campania. Olivella is among the few producers keeping this ancient variety alive, and the Kata is their purest expression of it: unfiltered, minimal intervention, and utterly singular.

In the glass it's luminous and aromatic: ripe yellow apple, white flowers, a hint of almond, and a volcanic minerality on the finish that you simply can't find anywhere else. This wine is light enough to drink freely and complex enough to hold your attention. Pair it with fresh mozzarella di bufala, grilled seafood, fried anchovies, or anything that calls for a white with real character and a sense of place.
