Lomba Dos Ares '21

From the steep, terraced vineyards of Ribeira Sacra, Lomba Dos Ares is a wild, expressive red from Fedellos do Couto — one of Galicia's most exciting natural wine producers. A blend of indigenous varieties (Mencía, Mouratón, Grenache, Tintorera, Caiño and Bastardo) grown on granite soils above the Sil River canyon, this wine is fermented with native yeasts and aged with minimal intervention, letting the land speak clearly.

Expect a vivid, translucent ruby in the glass, with aromas of crushed red cherry, dried herbs, slate, and a whisper of smoke. On the palate it's taut and energetic — bright acidity, silky tannins, and a long mineral finish that lingers. Serve slightly cool alongside roasted lamb, charcuterie boards, or aged Manchego.
