A traditional, handmade Farmhouse Red Leicester made at Park Head Farm in the Lancashire county of England. Around 450 Holstein Fresian cows graze in pasture from April to September, where the milk is sent a mere 32 meters away to the farm's production facility.
Wheels are wrapped in layers of cloth and butter, and aged for at least 6 months to reach their firm, crumbly texture with a richly nutty and subtly sweet taste. Enjoy with a mug of English Bitter, or a snifter of Whiskey.
