Châteauneuf-du-Pape Matteo '22

Few appellations carry the weight of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Planted on the storied galets roulés — the large, heat-retaining rounded stones that define the appellation's most celebrated terroirs — Domaine Duseigneur's vines have been farmed biodynamically for decades, long before it was fashionable.

The Matteo cuvée is named for the next generation of the Duseigneur family, and it carries that sense of inheritance: a wine rooted in tradition but alive with energy. A blend of Grenache and Syrah, it's vinified with minimal intervention, allowing the garrigue-scented soils of the Southern Rhône to speak clearly.

Deep ruby in the glass. The nose is opulent and complex — black cherry, dried fig, lavender, wild herbs, and a signature Provençal garrigue note that is unmistakably Southern Rhône. On the palate it's full-bodied and generous, with velvety tannins, a warm spiced core, and a long, mineral finish that rewards patience in the glass.
