Chanter La Poire

Revel's take on a French Perry, the hardly exported, often only made in tiny batches and seasonal at best, pear cider.   Fermentation was arrested before completion keeping some residual sugar and a lovely fruity quality to the perry. Chanter la Poire feels like nutty Bosc skins, with a concentrated Asian pear note in the aroma. Bitter pear skins are balanced by the residual sweetness of the fruit. As it warms up, you'll get notes of quince, guava and magnolia flowers.
