Hand-harvested and placed into small boxes to get them down the slope, pressing takes place within an hour of harvesting, followed by a cold pre-fermentation maceration capable of extracting aromas and colour. During fermentation at a constant temperature of 22°, pumping over is frequent. Refines for 6 months in steel tanks on the fine lees.
An interesting approach to an often malaligned grape, this medium bodied well structured wine features intense notes of blackberry and rose on the nose with smaller berries on the palate finishing with some notes of dark chocolate and cherry.
