Willibald Farm Distillery & Brewery doesn’t do things halfway, and their Astoria Vienna Lager is no exception. Self-proclaimed a “Mahogany Lager” by the brewers themselves, this is a Vienna-style lager with the depth and character to back up the bravado.

Pours a rich, clear amber-mahogany with a creamy off-white head. The nose is warm and inviting: toasted malt, graham cracker, a hint of caramel, and a subtle earthiness. On the palate, it’s smooth and medium-bodied — roasted malt sweetness up front, a gentle biscuity mid-palate, and a clean, pleasant bitterness on the finish that keeps it from being too heavy. Balanced, sessionable, and deeply satisfying. Prost!
