4 Kilos 2019

4 Kilos is a winery started by two childhood friends, Francesc and Sergio. The number refers to $35000.00, or 4 Million Pesetas, which is only how much money they had when they started the winery. They farm and work in Mallorca, Spain and their mission is just to show us how beautiful wines from this region can be… and every time we open one of these bottles we realize how right they are.

This wine from 4 KIlos has a little more oak than their other cuvees, but it is wonderfully integrated and doesn't hide the purity of the Mallorcan fruit. Red berries, dark flowers, Spanish herbs and a structured texture which makes it surprising how refreshing the wine is. Try with some Manchego or even Oveja Con Trufa.
