Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spatlese '21

Prüm's Zeltinger Sonnenuhr Riesling Spätlese '21 is one of the Mosel's most iconic expressions — a wine from a single grand cru vineyard that has been producing benchmark Riesling for centuries. The Sonnenuhr (“sundial”) site on the steep blue-slate slopes above Zeltingen is among the most celebrated in Germany, and the '21 vintage captures it at its most precise and compelling.

At just 7% ABV, this is Riesling in its most ethereal form: off-dry, with a razor-sharp acidity that perfectly balances the residual sweetness. Expect white peach, apricot, lime zest, honeysuckle, and the signature petrol note that signals serious provenance and age-worthiness. It will evolve beautifully over the next 10–20 years, but already drinks with remarkable complexity and grace.

Pair with aged washed-rind cheese, smoked fish, foie gras, or spiced Asian cuisine. Or simply pour it on its own and give it the attention it deserves.
