Frauen Power Fusion '24

Vin de LaGamba is the project of Alanna LaGamba — a Toronto-born winemaker who found her way to Flonheim, in the Rheinhessen region of Germany, and has been making wines of genuine personality and joy ever since. Frauen Power — "women's power" — is exactly what the name promises: a wine with energy, confidence, and something to say. 

With this wine, Alanna is referencing her Italian roots: think Lambrusco by way of the Rheinhessen. It is light, fresh, and genuinely easy to drink — the kind of bottle you open on a warm evening with no particular plan and finish before you've decided what to eat. The Dornfelder and Pinot Noir bring the wine's deep pink colour and red fruit character; the Riesling adds the bright, floral acidity that gives it lift and length; and the Müller-Thurgau rounds everything out with a gentle aromatic softness. The light fizz keeps it lively from first pour to last. Drink it cold, drink it outside, and drink it with people worth sharing a bottle with.
