Le Chant du Loup '23

Our poor memories from high school French class allow us just enough to confidence to kind of be sure this wine is called "The Song Of The Wolf". Our extreme dedication to drinkling and eating delicious things allows us to say this is a great bottle of wine with 100% confidence.

Emmanuel is the winemaker here, working this region "Coteaux de Lyonnais" somewhat between Beaujolais and the Rhone Valley. This Chardonnay is from the village of Savigny, which is not the same as the village in Burgundy called Savigny which also makes delicious Chardonnay. There is no new oak here, more of a vibrant and fresh style of winemaking. Expect more of a Chardonnay style with citrus fruits and elegance, rather than a butter bomb.
