Winemaker, Josep Serra, is making some perfect medium bodied wines in Terra Alta. We see a lot of low abv crisp easy glou-glou wines & a lot of huge full-bodied oak bombs... it's refreshing to see a winemaker so perfect at making medium-bodied wines.
This is 100% Garnacha Blanco with a rich flavour, some barrel notes of baking spice, almonds, earth and apples. Great value. Pefectly balanced. The area has this unique chalk soil called "Pedra de Cala" that is crumbly and soft, which they used to use for the bricks in the region.
