La Butte is one of the most compelling expressions of old-vine Gamay in the Loire Valley. Sourced from 85+ year old vines rooted in flinty clay and limestone soils in Touraine, this wine is a testament to what happens when time, terroir, and restraint converge.

Farmed organically and harvested entirely by hand, the grapes undergo whole-cluster, semi-carbonic maceration and spontaneous fermentation in vat — a process that preserves the fruit's wild, vivid character while allowing the ancient soils to speak clearly.

Tasting Notes

Expect a wine that is at once earthy and electric — dark cherry, crushed stone, violet, and a whisper of smoke. The palate is silky with a long, mineral-driven finish that lingers beautifully.
