The name Cumaro derives from the Greek "komaros", referring to the strawberry trees that dot the landscape. "Cumaro" is a selection of the best grapes from the Umani Ronchi San Lorenzo vineyard in the Marche region. After aging in French oak barrels for one year, the wine refines in bottle for 7 months.
Expect an expressive potpourri of plum, black current, and morello cherry; a medium body, fine tannins, and a long finish of spicy black pepper, vanilla, & tobacco.
