Blanc Sense Papers '24

"Blanc sense papers" means "White without papers" in Catalan — a name that captures the philosophy of Bodega Clandestina perfectly. No fining, no filtration, no paperwork: just Xarel·lo from the Penedès, fermented naturally and bottled with minimal intervention. The "clandestine" in the producer's name is a statement of intent, a wine made outside the rules of the conventional wine industry and proud of it.

Xarel·lo is the great indigenous white variety of Catalonia — best known as one of the three grapes of Cava, but increasingly celebrated as a single-variety wine in its own right, particularly in the hands of natural producers who let it express its full character.
