Petit Sapin is a soft, gooey surface ripened cheese from Franche-Comté near the Swiss border of France. Similar to the iconic Vacherin Mont D'Or from the same area, this cheese is wrapped with a spruce bark strap which gives it a woodsy, bacony flavour, much like it's more famous cousin.
Pasteurized cow's milk, salt, cheese culture, rennet.
