Nose of dark fruit - blackberries, plums and concord grape. Hint of green pepper on the palate, sour candy acidity and mixed berries.
Still red. Direct press of Frontenac Noir and Frontenac Gris, with whole-cluster maceration of Frontenac Noir fruit in trempette style for 1.5 months in stainless steel tanks. Aged on lees in stainless steel for over a year before bottling.
Bottled with lees.
