Creamy goat cheese fans rejoice!

Legendary cheesemakers Fromagerie P. Jacquin et Fils have blessed us with another gorgeous Loire Valley goat cheese. The young chevre is coated in a blend of Provincial herbs, peppercorns, and juniper berries that infuse the cheese with distinctive herbal and floral aromas as they dry. 
When young, Carré du Berry is fresh and lactic with peppery notes from the rind. As it ages, more floral notes bloom through a distinctive goaty tang.

We recommend that you scrape the herbs off and enjoy the cheese below. Pair with fresh figs and crusty bread, and a lighter wine such as Sauvignon Blanc, Sancerre, or Pinot Noir.
