Cabanes Bordeaux Blanc '24

Chateau Penin's history goes way back, to it's founding in 1855! It was founded by blah blah blah... then Patrick Carteyron took over in 1982 and turned this into an estate worth following.

Patrick is a real steward of the land, investing in organic farming and doing things the right way. This is "New Bordeaux". Peach, white honey, gunflint and passionfruit. The grape blend is Sauvignon Blanc/Gris 85% & Sémillon 15% fermented and aged in half stainless steel vats and half oak barrels. It has this nice waxy character that we love in Semillon blends, textured but fresh and zesty. Modern. Elegant. Easy.
