Bandol Rosé '23

The Benchmark Rosé of Provence
Château Pradeaux is one of Bandol's most storied estates, and their rosé is the standard by which all others are measured. Made predominantly from Mourvèdre — the noble grape of this sun-drenched Provençal appellation — this is a rosé of uncommon depth and structure.
A deep salmon-copper hue sets the tone. The nose is complex and inviting: wild strawberry, dried herbs, garrigue, and a saline mineral edge that speaks directly to the limestone and clay soils of the Bandol hills. On the palate, it's full-bodied for a rosé — rich texture, firm backbone, and a long, dry finish with notes of peach skin and crushed stone.
This is a rosé that can hold its own at the dinner table, not just the aperitif hour.
