Cirò Rosato DOC '24

Librandi's Cirò Rosato is the product of thirty years of patient, committed work across four estates in Calabria's Cirò DOC, one of southern Italy's oldest and most storied wine zones. The Segno project represents the culmination of that effort: a deep, territory-driven understanding of Gaglioppo, the ancient indigenous grape at the heart of this wine.

Gaglioppo in rosato form is a revelation. The colour is a vivid salmon-pink, and the nose delivers ripe strawberry, dried rose petal, and a faint saline mineral note that speaks directly to the sun-baked Calabrian coast. On the palate it's fresh and medium-bodied, with enough structure to hold its own at the table and enough brightness to keep things lively glass after glass. It moves effortlessly from aperitivo to a full meal — equally at home alongside grilled fish, aged pecorino, or a spread of cured meats.
