The French region of Corbieres is one we mostly know for these robust and dark herbal red wines, but there are rare and delicious white wines to be found as well. The winemaker Hubert Joyeux turned the estate organic in 2013 and is working with exotic grapes such as this Albarino you don't often see in France. This wine is aged in a mix of stainless steel and old austrian barrels.
Notes of white peaches, tropical fruit, lychee, white stones and a nice mix of texture and acidity. We really like these types of wines with funkier semi-firm cheeses and some preserved fruit.
