Bas Armagnac - SW France - since the 1800s - distilled once which results in a more fragrant & flavourful spirit than Cognac which is distilled twice - VSOP - aged in barrels for a minimum of 4 years . Delicate aromas of fruits (cooked apples, citrus), white blossom, vanilla and light wood notes--round and supple. Serve this with some of our exceptional dark chocolate and a hard cheese like Comte.
