Morbier has been produced in the Franche-Comté region of France for centuries. It known for the line of ash running through the middle of the cheese as well as its springy, slightly elastic texture and its long, complex flavour profile.
In producing Morbier, farmers would milk their cows in the morning and then spread a layer of wood ash over the top to keep the bugs out, then at night when the cows are milked again they would pour the milk on top creating the ash line thought the centre.
Order before 10AM for same-day delivery throughout the GTA Monday-Friday! Orders placed after 10AM will be delivered next day. Packages arrive between 3pm-10:30pm, unfortunately we are not able to accommodate specific delivery times at the moment. However, if you would like a specific delivery date, simply make a note at check out and we can hold your package until the requested date.
Orders placed outside of our delivery zone will be shipped through Canada Post. Canada Post delivers Monday - Friday, any estimates in delivery times made by Canada Post are approximate and are not guaranteed.
We're also available for pick-ups and in store shopping 11AM to 7PM seven days a week.
