Hidden Bench is an iconic Canadian winery with a long history of delicious wines on the picturesque Beamsville Bench. Though all their wines are farmed organically with estate fruit (rare for Canada), the Rachis & Derma line showcases their more natural leaning wines with low sulfur additions.
The Rachis & Derma skin-contact Chardonnay is one of the cleanest and well-farmed orange wines coming out of Ontario. We get some earl grey tea notes, marmalade and a slight herbal quality. The wine spends 20 days on the skins and bottled unfined/unfiltered with zero additions of any kind.
