Controlled Chaos '24

Kolónia 52 is a new winery, but Attila and Annamaria are not new to the natural wine world as they’ve worked at legendary favs like Gut Oggau and Heinrich. They work with zero sulfur additions and only make about 10,000 bottles a year. 

This mix of Pinot Noir & Pinot Gris (the blend can change every year) is right on the line between light red and rose. Volcanic soils bring us something crunchy, fresh, juicy and a bottle that can disappear quickly. 

We don’t judge based on labels, but this one is special: it is a linocut made by Attila’s friend, printed locally with natural soy-based colours and each one is hand-stamped by the couple. This hands-on approach really shows how small and tender their operation is.
