Eliche — Italian for "propellers" — are a spiralled pasta shape built for one thing: holding on. Each tight helix traps sauce in its grooves, ensuring every forkful is as flavourful as the last.
Gigi's Eliche is bronze-extruded and slow-dried at low temperature, a traditional method that gives the pasta a rough, porous surface and a depth of flavour you simply won't find in mass-produced alternatives. Made from just durum wheat semolina and water, it's a pantry staple that punches well above its weight.
Equally at home with a chunky tomato ragù or a creamy pesto, this shape is built for bold, hearty sauces.
