Sauvignon Blanc 45%, Chardonnay 40%, with 15% of Marsanne from 2021. All grapes sourced from Gerald and Jocelyne at Le Mazel. The Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were direct pressed over 4 days. The fermentation stalled and so Marsanne from 2021 was added to help the process along. The first wine to spend time in their newly acquired Alsacien foudres in their new cellar. Over a year in these large barrels not topped up. Salty and breezy with great concentration and rich acidity. Moreish and highly expressive with white flowers and a golden core of fruit. A little spritz on the palate lifts everything up, and amplifies its expression. A lovely signature white from Anne and Anders.
