This wine comes from old vines located in the commune of Volnay, in its eastern part. The En Coulezain climate is distinguished by a fairly deep clay soil, bringing suppleness and roundness to this vintage.
The grapes were hand-picked at optimum ripeness and rigorous sorting. Vinification is sulfur-free, vatting for an average of 21 days with gentle extraction and regulated temperature in stainless steel vats.
Long aging on lees: 12 months on average, 100% in oak barrels (10 to 25% new barrels depending on the vintage).
