Wildfish Cannery was founded in 1987 by Phyllis Meuller. This family owned community fish cannery on Prince of Wales Island is now run by her grandson, Chef Mathew Scaletta where he blends his fine-dining background with the family's heritage and craft.
And nowhere can Mathews gourmet background be seen more clearly than in this limited tin. Cod cheeks are an incredibly tender part of the fish, these are firmed up and flavoured with real natural wood smoked and then canned in premium cultured butter. This is a singular tin and perhaps the crown jewel of the current Wildfish lineup. We are honoured to be the only store in Canada with them and can't wait for you to try them.
