Sergio Nunes Washed Colombia

Cape Coffee is a small batch roastary located on the southern shore of the Avalon Peninsula in Cape Broyle, Newfoundland. They roast carefully and delicately to highlight the complexity and nuanced flavour profile of where that specific coffee was grown and cared for at origin. They tend to lean towards lighter roasts to bring out the most clarity, allowing the coffee to express itself in an articulate way.

This lot comes from the Ricabrisa countryside in Tarqui where Sergio Nuñes spent his early years learning about the value of hard work in the fields. Sergio has maintained a strong bond to the countryside after briefly moving to the urban center of Tarqui. This washed Colombia variety has a tropical sweetness with a bright acidity and notes of milk chocolate, cherry blasters and ripe red fruits.
